Boncuk, pronounced ‘bon-juke’, is a seven year old Cocker Spaniel and a very friendly, easy-going dog who is passionately devoted to his owner. As they have a deep connection with Turkey and its culture, Boncuk was named after the lucky charm which is thought to protect against the evil eye. It is usually made from blue glass with a stylised eye painted on it.

In terms of temperament is just as merry, gentle and affectionate as the breed standard calls for. Active and always eager to please, Boncuk soon got the hang of what this shooting was all about and began throwing himself into position.

I love his unique colour and that he is not overdone in type: his ears are still light enough and he does not have the same droopy eyes that other Cockers sport on occasion.

He has a very deep bond with his owner and loves cuddles, as I think is visible below.

Die Aufnahmen sind wieder super schön.
